Another Knock sensor question
Yes I know they can be tuned out, something I will look into but not option short term now.
my car has them relocated to side of the block, my question is can they be put on 1/8 npt pipe brass or cast extention to get off the block a bit? My reasoning is I recently added an oil cooler and the sensor is located at the fitting point of the block put on above the filter. Wound up breaking the plug. I have new sensor on order & if I can extend the threaded portion about 3/4 inch it will temporarily cure my problem until I can get to my tuner
