Have you got a link to it? I'm not familiar with (I'll do a search when I'm done here). I have a modified stock shifter I did myself. I had a Ripper. I find the modified shifter a great compromise. The Ripper was still more precise, but the modified stock shifter is much nicer than stock, and easier to use in city traffic.
Looks like they just cut it down from the top and left the isolator intact.
I suggest, if this is what you want, go the way jschindler did. With the instructions from chuckster. Far more solid and it's a (semi) free mod.
I can't seem to find the link for the instructions by chuckster, but I know it's here somewhere...........
Its actually the exact same thing as Corvettes Concepts shifter. I have it instaleed in mine. Its exactly the same feel as stock but shorter. It is not stiff like most of the after market products. I think it works very well. It also uses all of the stock mounting hardware.
