Rear view mirror power
So wiring my valentine 1 up to get power from rear view mirror.
car is a 99 c5. So there are 4 wires in the plug. One of the hot only supplies power with the door open. One wire which I believe to be my 12v hot off ignition isn't doing anything.
I did get it to power up on the third wire, but that requires me to turn the interior dimmer all the way on to supply power.
Not a big deal assuming I remember to shut it off.
But if I want it ran correctly, am I looking for a direct wire, or is that coming out of the bcm?
