Question to the gang...if push came to shove can the 2-4 servo be serviced on a lift without removing the tranny? Or is there just not enough room for hands, tools, etc. Maybe removing the gas tank heat shield to gain a few inches? I've done it on a truck with a 4l60E but, yeah, tons more room. Thanks.
2-4 Servo? Crickets? No has attempted to remove and replace 2-4 servo components on the without dropping the tranny? Can it be done? Maybe drop a portion of the exhaust to get my hands/tools up there? Thanks.

there is maybe 1.1" between the hex and frame. to get some access trans needs to drop by about 5" untill the hex passes the frame and by 6" for the whole piston to pass the frame. for full access by 10" untill it passes the tank. the bracket for the fuel tank in the way. so "dropping the craddle" i dont know. can it be somehow wiggled out with 1.1" of space?
