Default Dam F55 computer system

Situation,
went to pick up car from transmission shop and noticed THE message about not going over 80mph and shocks inop. Funny thing is I had the F55 deleted at a dealership, so I opened the trunk and noticed all the plugs were plugged back into the BCM. Fast forward they had a tuner at least raise the allowed MPH to 159🙄 but I still get the same crap about shocks inop and speed limited to 159.
Question,
has anyone had their F55 deleted but plugged back in and can you just unplug the one gray clip and everything goes back to normal?

There should be a law against such cruelty

Once you plug the F55 module in the trunk back in it automatically turn the system on. Your going to need a Tech 2 to delete that again

No that won’t work !!…I’d take the car to the dealership and let them do the delete then give the bill to the transmission shop…if the transmission shop has a bi directional scan tool (which they should have) they can do it !!

Of course, one would inform the tranny shop about the problem first, rather than just drop a bill on them and expect them to pay up for work done elsewhere and without their knowledge.

Why would a transmission shop plug that back in?

they actually took it to another shop to have the electrical system checked out since it was showing a code and that shop did it.
