Default Bass is not working

Hi,

Recently a bought a US C5 convertible here in Europe. The car came without a radio, (it seems like it had an aftermarket one as the console bezel is for 2inch radio.
Short story: I installed a new radio together with the vet roem-1 pac. During the installation process, I found out that the wire orange a12 and green a11 were connected to the 12v from the lighter (no idea why).
I tried to connect them to the original wires, yet I found out after this that the orange wire is never seeing voltage. I've checked all relays and fuses, they seem fine.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong? (bose speakers are there and connected).

A is output [from head-unit into PAC] ; A11 from PAC-VET is purple, A12 is purple / red. Pair is for right rear + (high / low).

Orange is A3 / B8 (input / output illumination) and green is B12 / A13 (input / output left rear channel).

Hope it helps, while I have no idea why there was a need to connect them to ACC.

The wiring order I mentioned was from the car connector.
Please check the attached photo.

Just to add, all speakers work, just the bass doesn't (checked even by removing the door panel).

Thanks for the support.

The wiring order I mentioned was from the car connector.
Please check the attached photo.
...
If connector at photo is A (input into PAC from Head) - these are contacts 1 & 2 with different colors' wires used:
- 1 (wire color should be red) is correctly connection to ignition;
- 2 (wire color should be blue/white) to be used for Amp triggering. if +12 be there always, amp will be always on, I think.

You can check it by disconnecting green wire from +12. If there will be no change, then it will mean that your bose is not getting +12 and always off.
In this case, suggest to check if blue/white wire from PAC (2 pin @ cable B) is bringing +12 to the amp.
If - after disconnect - your sound will be much calmer (or no sound) - it will mean that your bass issue is not related to these wires.

Please check and advise.

PS: If this is correct, when fix your amp/bass, you can find proper wire from your new head and connect - to be able to switch amp on/off from the unit.
