My speedometer started sticking, so I’m planning to replace my instrument cluster. Looking on eBay, I noticed some of the clusters have different letters on the white sticker: NAH, NAX, NAM… Does it matter if these letters match?
But I thought I'd offer a half thought. I say that because I don't remember the product, but recall seeing an obd2 connector which would reprogram mileage. Not sure if it works. And you're probably still better off going through the dealer for potential legal purposes. But they're out there supposedly.
Fyi the car has two chips which record mileage. One on the cluster, one somewhere else. I believe it is something like chip U12 on the cluster?
Thank you for the replies. I ended up buying one from a company on eBay that could program the mileage for me. Hopefully everything works when I get it installed.
