I feel dumb asking but I have wasted a lot of time tring to make something to get in the small space between the axle and 7 mm bolt to allow me to get the lower control arm bushing nut off.. It just spins and I cut down the few 7 mm Allen keys I had with no success.
anybody have a solution for this? I was even to the point of thinking about removing entire control arm but I still don’t think it will make a difference as the distance from top of bolt to axel housing(correct name?) would still remain the same.
took a pick of bolt. My project is wheel bearing replacement.. Yes I’ve been searching the forum but can’t find my solution.
any help would be greatly appreciated.. going out to get more 7 mm Allen keys to grind..
thanks
jeff
Put your floor jack under it and a ratchet strap from the jack over the spindle and then jack the jack and wedge the bolt into the hole so it'll quit turning.
