Odd, blown fuse #2 throws P0128 CEL
Long story short: I blew fuse #2 on the interior panel due to a short in the sun visor. During the time it took me to figure out what had happened, I drove the car a couple of hundred miles. During those drives, it started throwing CEL P0128 (Coolant Thermostat). I cleared the code, and it did it again, cleared it again (after some checks to make sure everything was ok). I figured that I was gonna be changing out the ECT sensor or the thermostat next weekend.
This morning I fixed the short/blown fuse and took the car out for a good hard canyon run. Got the oil temp up over 200
CEL is nowhere to be seen.
I'll keep an eye on it and report back. As of now, it appears having Fuse #2 seems to affect the ECT readings to the ECM.
Weird.
