Hey all. For those who have done 6060 swaps, or just those who have better search ability than I do, what are the three sensors shown here and which, if any, do I need to swap out when slapping this box into the Z06?
Large one with bronze body is the CAGS solenoid. Those 2 black things look like fluid line connectors rather than electrical connectors, did this unit come out of a car with a fluid pump added for cooling?
Those are sprayers which were added to cool 3rd and 4th gear.
I'm thinking cags, reverse lockout, and I still have to guess what's over the diff. Temp sensor? Vehicle speed sensor? Then I've got to figure out which can stay and work with the C5 or needs to be swapped out.
I see. Yes, the top of the trans is the reverse lockout solenoid, and the top of the diff is a speed sensor. No temp sensor in the rear end, only in the Z06 trans.
Im not home to look and see if I have a port for such a sensor or not. Unsure what donor the 6060 came from. I'd love to add that and have it be monitored by the Haltech. Or even a gauge. Not that I'll be doing track work with a supercharged car, but I'd like to know before I overheat the thing if I ever did. Nows the time to add it easy.
