Has anyone gone with larger wheels for the C5? ie 18's Front 20's Rear. If so did you have to make any adjusts- programming etc. How was the ride affected? Feedback greatly welcomed before the $ are invested. MG

If you stay with the same aspect ratio and just increase diameter, you'll drop your RWTQ and increase your gas milage slightly. The ride will be slighly harsher.
If you increase diameter and decrease the aspect ratio so that the overall circumference is the same, no change will need to be made to calculate speed and your ride will be much harsher. Beyond that, I don't know much else.
Aspect ratio is a must if you want to keep your active handling working properly. If you don't have active handling..I would not worry about it. Also gearing is effected...last time I did some calculations it was minimal...smaller diameter rear tires netted 2 rwtq at 6700 rpm....ooh boy.
I had 20s on the rear and 18s on the front for awhile. MRKLN is running them now. :) The ride was fine and I noticed no SOTP difference. Traction from a dead stop was tougher due to the smaller side wall and the tire selection is VERY limited. The looks were killer though.
If there was a better selection of tires (read WIDER), I would have kept them.
Yes, very common approach here. There are literally hundreds of threads on this subject, as so many swap out stock wheels and tires. Do a search on wheels or tires in C5 Tech, and you'll have more posts than time.
