You'll find a lot of variation in answers on this one. Some will tell you you have to disassemble the entire car to get to the cam, others think bubba can do it in 15 minutes while picking his nose with his free hand.
If you want to know what the "standard" is, ask any Chevy dealer to look up the flat rate hours for a cam install, and multiply that by the hourly rate they charge (about $80 per hour around my neck of the woods).

I agree. Just be carefull that the dealer doesn't have his BUBBA work on your Vette for $80.00 per hour. Look for a warranty on the work.
