Default AC line valve stems

Do they sell the correct Ac line valve stem replacements? The rear one by the battery appears to be 1/4" and the front one by the condenser 3/8".

Should be very standard R134 high and low service valves (small port is high side, large port is low side).

Try Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, or NAPA stores.

I just installed a compressor in my 99 and replaced the schrader valve on my low side. I got a kit from O'Reilly. Part number 26779, Murray Climate control cap and valve kit. You will need a tool to remove it also.

I made my own removal/install tool, I'm thinking from a tire valve stem removal tool. IIRC, the tire stem tool works on the high side(?) by the condenser, but the low side by the accumulator requires a deeper reach tool. So I got out the die grinder, and made the tire valve tool into a longer reach tool by cutting the 'fork' deeper. Hope this helps...

cool so part number 26779 fits 99 corvette according to oreillys select a vehicle fitment and maybe a new o-ring gasket set. Autozone sells them individually but its M8 and M10 18.99$ each for the low and high side plus 2$ per cap. The schrader valves were full of dirt did a slight flush with clean pag oil i didn't see any metal in the old compressor oil after seeing the stock ambient air temp sensor connector rotten i had to splice a new plug and new ambient temp sensor was default 69 now when powered on the vents blow enough to defog a window but both left and right actuators have codes im assuming they're the stock and both have cracked gears so the blend doors are stuck in between. It blows medium air not hot when on heat.

Thanks for the correct schrader valve information i was expecting them to maybe be 2.99$ similar to the orifice tube price.

Sounds like you are going overboard on the situation. A $10 kit like this one from Amazon:
Amazon Amazon
Will allow you to pull the Schrader cores, clean the fittings, and charge and cap.

Hey yes great thanks can you confirm this is the correct valve stems and caps for 99 corvette r134? They say 7mm in the add photos. I had looked at autozones fittings individually and they say M8 and m10 for the lower and upper line vehicle specific for 99 corvette. Im all for the 10$ kit vs the 18$ oreillys kit if it includes both correct schrader valves and caps.

I've taken much too long to complete this thought.
No. No this kit will not work on the C5. The C5 requires 10-.75 thread cores for the high side valve, and 13/64-36 thread cores for the low side, ACDelco 15-5528 and 15-1119 respectively. Both readily availably, and should have been noted earlier. Sorry to have confused the issue.
