Stereo - Seek Button ammed

Stereo - Seek Button Jammed
Does anyone know if I can take the seek <> button out of the stereo with it while still in dash? Seems like spring is broken. Button stuck and continually changes stations after 5 seconds. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone want to possibly sell an in dash unit with CD, cheap? Thanks.

I don't know if you have the same problem I had,but I went to Radio Shack,purchased a can of air and a can of tuner spray.I gave it a shot of tuner spray and a shot of air.I pushed on the buttons a few times and my buttons worked just fine.I didn't have any broken springs.You may have to remove the head set and take it to a radio repair shop.If its under warranty,the warranty should cover the cost of repairs. :chevy :chevy :flag :flag :chevy :chevy
