Default Interior event air temperature sensor

Interior event air temperature sensor
I have a 1998 Corvette pace car I’ve just replaced the blend doors and the ambient air temperature sensor sensor went out part number 16267411 Delco part number 157-2496 the problem I have is I cannot find one at it looks exactly the same what would you do to have your air conditioner and all that work and he Control should I try to modify one I can get the cover but I can’t get the thing the sensor they fit exactly the same as OEM what do you think sorry letters long no punctuation thank you docmow

Next time I have my console apart I plan on taking some measurements on the sensor so I will have a reference if mine goes out.

Your best bet is to contact a place that specializes in parting out C5s. There is VETTENUTS, and I live near Charlotte and a place called VettePros is always parting these things out.
