Default Siphoning Gas

Can gas be siphoned out if a C5 to help empty the tanks? I filled the car up this morning, and had gas dripping from under car. I have always had a slight gas smell, but never a drip.

If not, what is the method of draining DS tank?

Thanks

You’ll need a rail rail adapter with a fuel hose attached to it and jumper terminals 87 and 30 highlighted in white of fuse 35 (fuel pump relay)…the fuel pump will operate and you can drain your fuel out !!

OP, before you go through all the trouble of draining the tank, have you isolated the cause of the drip? I had a "drip" issue occur, a few years back, and it turned out to be the "o-ring seal" on the fuel filter, that was the issue. The fuel filter can be replaced without the need to drain the tank (at least I didn't drain my tank).

I have a fuel pressure gauge with a pressure relief valve that screws onto the rail. I start the car and I put a zip tie over the relief button and let it run at idle for a bit. The hose off the releif valve goes into my spare gas cans. Takes about 5-10 minutes to drain the tank down to like 1/8.
