Seems like it's been forever since I started all this but the engine is all buttoned up and ready to move forward. I have MANY things to do but was wondering if it is possible / smart to install & wire the fans BEFORE I install the Radiator? I bought a new one and it's not here yet. I want to get a bunch done this weekend. I don't HAVE to do it but would like to get Water Pump and all the Front-of-Engine stuff rolling. If it is a dumb idea, I'll wait.
Thanks

If you install it, where would it mount without a radiator? I've never done it this way, so I don't know how you'd manage to mount it, if there's nothing for the fans to mount to. Easiest way (for me!) is to carefully mount the fans to the radiator while out of the car, then install as an assembly when you're ready. I say carefully because it's pretty easy to scrape up the delicate radiator fins when trying to mount the assembly to the radiator. Wiring is the easy part. My .02......
Yup - The more I looked at it the more I thought it wouldn't flush. In other words - pretty Crappy Idea. I just want to keep moving - plenty of other things to do though. PLENTY!!
Thanks guys !!
