Oil pressure gauge malfunction
I noticed that my oil pressure needle is all the way to the right(max oil pressure). I checked the gauge on the DIC and it says 128 psi. At first, I freaked and thought that I had too much oil in it, but then when I turned the engine off, all the gauges returned to zero except the Oil gauge. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm sick of bringing it to Chevy for all of these BS quirks. Any info would be appreciated.

You have a defective oil pressure sender unit. Unfortunately, it is located behind the intake manifold so it has to come off in order to replace the sender unit.

That sucks...mine went out on me about 2 months ago...had it replaced under extended warranty...I freaked out too when it first pegged out on me...luckily I came to the forum and asked about it...hope you get it working again...
