pinning wifes crank pulley
it has factory crank pulley and it wobbles. from the day we bought it. its been driven hard on the track and hasnt changed at all, but while i was working her rack over i thought id, u know, service the crankshaft by sticking a pin in it.
off we go!
I’m going to let this sit here for about 10 minutes to make sure it’s good and hot. This is only MAP so it’s not like it’s going to melt anything down but I’m also keeping the flame very low. I’m just warming the boat to try and soften the lock tight I’m about to hit it with a impact
did hit a snag though. my amazon OEM tool 27139 puller tller somehow is missing the hing pins! weird because it was new.
ill use bolts, or grab some pins from home depot or something.
thats all for tonight.
took a couple dugga duggas on max power and out she came. is there supposed to be oil there? i do have a new seal for it
oil?
crank pulley is off and from what i see, the rubber liner / bumper between the outer and inner ring is failing. its caused the outer ring to be cockeyed on the inner ring.
that is for sure what we saw as wobble.
