Has anyone purchased the ebay knock off or exhaust similar to the borla s type round mufflers. Which one os the correct round tip muffler exhuast similar to this one shown in youtube video, He said he has the new style tips and maybe the product isnt advertised as the round tip exhaust. Im trying to find the same round tip exhaust vs the oval tip design that ebay has advertised for 350$-370$. Its a 1/3 of the price of the borla exhaust or is straight piped the way to go. I am looking for a specific exhaust the same as the youtube videos with quad round tips. He said the brand of box or in the video was "GodSnow" If anyone could let me know where to purchase the exact same product as in the video would help me great. The oval tips looks real bad vs the round tips. The ebay sellers dont have the correct information or enough to give me other then pictures.

 

Well i have enough for the borla s type round muffler single tip from rpiparts for 663$+tax but im not sure if borla straight pipes or muffler shop straight pipes would be better.

 

I run headers, x-pipe, and the earlier single pipe Borla S and they are loud as hell at wot and plenty loud when not.

I have the same thing but newer (or possibly the Atak system?) which came on the Z06 I bought, but I haven't got that car running yet.

 

The atak is the the smaller sized muffler one no?

Well my tips came in i need to figure out is the local exhaust shop can mandrel bend and add the 3.5" tips i took these pics from someones else listings. Print them out to give the muffler shop an idea of how to do the straight pipe after removing the factory mufflers using the stock 2.5" over the axles. The best price from a good muffler shop i got was 120$ to weld the tips and straight 2.5" pipes from the factory exhaust so id be in at 160$ for a straight pipes with good tips on the factory 2.5" over the axles which are pretty nice stock.

People use borla straight pipes and arent too loud but if anyone thinks this will be too loud on a cammed headers corvette auto so low rpm shifting it should be pretty quiet.
I can send the tips back with in 30 days and get full refund of 40$ and purchase the borla stinger round muffler single tips for 663$+ tax. I have just enough for the single tip borla new so if anyone thinks it'd be too loud but i read the borla straight pipes are killer let me know so i can return the tips and go the round muffler borla design just would cost the 700$ i have. These are the last mods i plan to make to the car as well as a varam powerduct and 3.90 gears some exterior mods clean headlights, maintenance new tpms sensors, wideband and some rear drag wheels.
The last photo is from someones for sale ad hope its not a problem i was going to print it out to give the muffler shop an idea of how to run the exhaust straight piping.

 

With what i posted above guys let me know if the 160$ total similar borla straight pipes is worth it or send back for full 40$ refund with in 30 days and order the 700$ borla stinger single tips from rpiparts. I think these exhaust tips will look nice i still need to remove and repolish the headlights and figure out if rustoleom gloss black for 4$ is just as durable as duplicolor 10$ wheel paint. I think 1 can can probably do 2 wheels as they are already flat black. Still looking into doing window tinting.
