Default traction control

I had old worn out tires on my car before and the tcs would operate just when hitting a few bumps at normal speed and kill the throttle the dic would read "tcs active" on when accessing the on ramp which at first i thought was dangerous as it left the car with no acceleration. I recently had disconnected all the connectors to drop the transmission and rebuild the torque tube and put nearly new 275/40/18 hankook ventus 12 evo2 which run a bit smallers then nitto 555r street tires. Now when accelerating or with the throttle floored the car will break loose pretty easy after having the car tuned with cam, headers and volant intake filter. I haven't fully WOT it from 1st or a dead stop but when accelerating it at 30-50mph the car will get sideways quickly it may be because the car has pretty good traction with the tires and is trying to accelerate. Usually my v8 cars were 6 speed so there was a clutch and more control of the spinning, engine and just plain trying to drive. So how does everyone else deal with traction control just simply get bigger tires? Seems it would be possible to wreck into the wall sideways if the car were to break loose the autos seem to go sideways vs spinning going straight with a clutched 6 speed. I used 285/35/18 rear pirelli pzeros tires z06 18x10.5 on my 95 z28 and 315/25/17 nitto 555 drag radials on 17x10.5 torque thrust m on my 98 z28 but were 6 speed cars with no traction control. I think the auto will grab or loose traction and shoot to the side so what are we looking at upgrading to rear z06 wheels with a 295/30/18 or 285/35/18 tire. The thing i hated most is the 315s were 540$ new at discount tire and a good used set from the local tire shp was 250$ for 285/35/18s. So what does everyone do just upgrade to bigger rear tire/wheels? Looking to take this thing to the track but its possible to wreck at this point with no clutch. Jegs has oe deep dish 18x10.5 oe replica c5 5 spoke wheels or similar matching wheel rim set. OE Wheels 5910212: Corvette C5 Style Wheel Size: 18" x 10.5" - JEGS High Performance
Alot of people use c6 wheels which are 18s/19s i think are there any pictures of cars with z06 rear wheels and normal 00-04 5 spoke wheels on the front?
