Ok someone had told me the c5 base had the antenna in the rear window but looking at this 02 frame base model red appears the windshield has the radio antenna? My 99 was in an accident where the replaced the window and theres this antenna wire hanging by my rearview mirror. Did they replace the windshield with the z06 or frc style that has the antenna on the rear quarter panel? I attached photos. Ones an 02 base model frame with the antenna in the front windhshield first 2 photos the other is my 99 where the previous owner had told me he replaced the door didnt mention windshield but the vin look up has said it was a white motor vehicle mine is originally artic white that was in a collsion with severe top damage according to the vin tag look up by laredo ploice in department in 2018. So maybe they had painted mine red 5 years ago. Can anyone identify if they used the other style windshield without the antenna where they use the antenna in the rear quarter panel.

So is mine missing the front windshield with the antenna in it? If so whats the best way to add an antenna? The radio plays ok sometimes i hear some fuzz feedback so could this be the issue?

It appears to me just a rear defroster the middle power supply and both ground wires from the rear window to the struts?
