So my cel comes on and says my rear sensors, ok no big deal. Well my battery died due to my fault and since putting in a new battery the light is gone even after 75 miles of driving. Can low voltage trip the sensor or something?
that's what I'm curious about because the light was on, could smell it running rich and now it's nothing
The read O2 sensors will not cause the car to run rich…what were the DTC’s you were seeing ??…the CEL (MIL) will clear after disconnecting the battery and the battery will not die because of that fault.

The rear o2s or read o2s? I have put some rear o2s delphi flat style in my fronts for corvette i was talking to you in another thread and made my car run rough or rich as it would have to be revved and would bog down idle worse then a cammed first start and the car trying to relearn the new cam. You sure bad o2s wouldnt cause it to dump fuel running way rich.
Low voltage depends i had went down to 10 volts when i was getting dynotuned and lucky the shop had a lithium jumpstarter to get the car started and didnt have any problems after just front o2 codes from the original 92k mile sensors.
I did have a low battery that i had jumpstarted or when i disconnected a bunch of stuff the car went haywire drove normal but inverted gauges but drove fine under reduced power untill a few drives or key cycles then ran normal. This was after i did a ecu reset for my transmission was in limp mode wouldnt shift i had to reset or erase the old memory by touching the positive negative together for a few seconds WITHOUT A BATTERY to get rid of any limp mode so the ecu could relearn and fresh start.
