My passenger rocker panel had came unglued. Its still glued at the rear of vehicle but at the front it hangs 2". The factory gm adhesive unglued. My drivers side rocker panel is perfect and glued to the metal frame rail. Adhesive 89020330 | World Parts Direct Is this the correct adhesive for rocker panels glued to frame rail that gm uses. How long does it take to dry? And to prep the inner rocker and frame maybe a 40 grit sandpaper on both mounting surfaces to be glued then rinsed and apply adhesive? Id use two tire jack with a 2x4 and rags to not damage lower rocker panel paint to hold it up against frame rail while the gm adheisve cures? That is correct adheisve above? and how long does it take to dry or cure?
Here my rocker panel that needs glued and one off a buddies 02 frame rockers with the black blobbed gm adhesive contact area.

Can anyone confirm that the above is what gm uses as the black adhesive for glueing rocker panels to frame rails and 40 grit both rocker and frame rail contact point rinsed to to be adhered. Looks like gm uses 4-6" spot section or half inch thick globs and clamps the rockers to the frame? Any help is appreciated. Finally got caught up on most maintenace to where im trying to repair the one rocker or glued first then attempt to repair the front rocker moldings that tuck under fender.
