50th Anniversary front shocks

Anyone know the proper front shocks for my 2003 50th anniversary edition and suggestion as to best place to buy them. 1st state Chevrolet here says they are over $800 a piece. Rockauto says $95. Confused????

You probably have the Magnetic Ride shocks. They are very expensive. My 2003 just had the base suspension so I upgraded to the C6 Z06 shocks. Shock Absorber Front PN:10313647

You have the F55 shocks. Rock Auto has them for around 400 each. Both fronts shocks are the same, the rears are different part numbers.

Just because you have magnetic ride doesn’t mean you have to replace them. Many people just put in base shocks or c6z shocks (both direct replacements) and then have a tuner eliminate the code for mag ride. Good way to save a ton of money.

He should have the F55! To the best of my knowledge, ALL 50th Anniversary models came with the F55 as std. equipment.......
