Hello everyone , I’ve had my c5 for a year now and recently my rear shocks gave out and after a while a rattle in the shifter started and only rattles from 2000-2400k rpms in every gear . So I assumed it was maybe because of the angle of the car that could be forcing the shifter a certain way . I ended up replacing with new shocks and the rattle continued . I’m at a total lost on what it could be . Any help would be appreciated! I am posting a video Down bellow

Strange that its only between 2k-2400 rpm, but in all gears. Have you removed the center console to inspect whether or not any bolts that secure the lower box backed out? Some have had these bolts that are loose or completely missing.
It takes 10 minutes to remove the console to get to the shifter box. I would start there and make sure everything is snug.
I did take everything apart the the bushing looked Old but they were tight . I was going to change them but I would assume if it was that it would rattle consistently.

I also doubt it's the bushings. I swapped my lower box a few years back. Old box bushings were shot but it didn't rattle.
Did you drive it over 2k RPM with the console and dust cover removed so you could get a look at what's happening at that RPM?
