Default Battery cable sizes

Hi... anyone knows what size Gauge for both ( + - ) battery cables ? Ineed to replace both ?

4g is pretty standard and plenty for stock replacement. Especially if you use a higher quality cable (mil spec or welding) If you were to move the battery further away requiring a longer cable it wouldn't be a bad idea to use a larger gauge cable to reduce the increased resistance as a result of the added length. FWIW, I have built dozens of custom cables and prefer to use USA made welding cable for battery power, starter, alternator, etc.. Personally, I don't use red. Just get some red shrink tube and mark the ends of the positive cable(s). There are also red tags with POS indicated on them that can be purchased. Keep in mind, they are not intended as a replacement for proper heat shrink. They simply go over it for marking.
