Roll Cage installation questions....
1) What did you do about the carpet where the cage mounts to the chassis?
2) If you have any pics please post them.
3) Any tech tips on installing them?

If I remember correctly you are installing a wolf racecaraft cage....
1. remove both seats + top.
2. remove both seat belt bolts.
the rear hoop should slip in the rear down bars are a royal PIA
3. you will also have to notch your seat rails to rebolt the seat back to the bolt on the floor.
good luck.
PS You will not be able to stop your top in the rear of the car anymore after installation. Wolfe Racecraft promised it would fit, but it did not.

i dont have an image hosting service, so I will email you the pics that I just took of my cage. I had them weld an extra bar for my shoulder belts, since I thought that one that came with was too low. Please feel free to post the pics so others can benefit from my pain.

I really want to be able to make the carpet look factory again(now have 2"holes). What did you guys do to avoid this?

Phil, If you already have the 2' holes cut, it would be hard to make it look factory again. I probably misunderstood your statement. As for what did I do, I marked the center point of the bars where they would attach to the floor. Then I taped tacks to the center mark with the point of the tack up. Then I replaced the carpet so that the tacks stuck through. I then cut the holes in the carpet around the tacks, slipped them over the roll bar and bolted everything back together.

The carpet cutting was the hardest part for me..TAKE YOUR TIME..once it's cut..IT'S CUT.. :yesnod:
