Interested to hear reviews about Engineered Cooling Products Radiator for an 02 A4
I realize it’s not a Dewitts but it looks to have similar quality
Thanks for any replies

I installed an ECP aluminum radiator in my '02 Z06 in October 2011. It was the basic radiator for a manual trans without the internal oil cooler. The car already has an external TPIS oil cooler and oil thermostat. I had to do a little tweaking with the mounting tabs and the fan brackets to get it to fit, but it wasn't too difficult.
Everything was fine with no problems for eight years. In October 2019 the radiator started leaking where the radiator core is attached to the side tank on the driver's side. I took the radiator to a shop that builds radiators for race cars, and everything was fine for another week, The crack kept working it's up the side of the tank and the shop said it was a lost cause trying to repair the radiator. After about $100 was spent on the radiator repairs, I bought a new AC Delco OEM radiator for about the same price I paid originally for the ECP radiator. The car runs just as cool with the OEM radiator so I am happy.
I installed one in May 2017, manual trans version. All good so far. Removed the drain plug and installed an anode rod instead.
Thank you for your input. I’m just replacing the original one and it’s not bad but if I replace it I’d like to get something with a higher heat rejection level and since their info talks about its values I had reservations with its actual performance at that price point
Thanks again

That’s good to know. I realize a small percentage of products can produce high end results at modest price points but there’s always caveats like you described
