Default No Key Start
Any way to bypass the ignition to start the engine? I bought a damaged Z06 without keys at auction. I want to check that the engine runs before i pull it.

Easiest thing to do is have a key made by using the Vin, there is no easy way, you can crank the engine over by jumpering at the TDR, but it will not start.

Hook a resistor to the VATS wires and jumper out the ignition switch connector to be able to turn on power so you can do a VATS relearn then it'll start by jumping the right wires together at the ign switch connector.

Resolved: $31 key made a local Chevrolet dealer, just had to show title and ID.
