This is really a subjective question. There is no way around it, any of these mounts that are not stock are going to vibrate and make more noise. It is just a question of what can you handle.
I have the RW version ( looks like the PFADT) and its the best upgrade I have done so far, but I also drive the car as intended. AMT also makes good stuff, I plan on buying their motor mounts.
I am concerned about it being noisier than the stock mount and would appreciate any feedback I can get - before investing in one.
Thanks, Roy
It's definitely noisier and stiffer than stock. For a street car honestly I would leave it stock. That said lots of guys put them on street cars and I have heard almost zero complaints. But for a track car it's a very nice upgrade in regards to handling and confidence in the rear end, especially at turn in and exit.
I do, along with the engine mounts. As mentioned, the drivetrain is indeed noisier. I'm hearing all sorts of sounds I never heard before lol. Doesn't bother me though.
That being said, the AMT mounts are amazing. Definitely a worthy upgrade if you'll be tracking your car
I used solid motor mounts on my 98 z28 spohn performance to make room for a turbo kit and didnt notice any difference also went to billet solid couplers in the torque tube the ebay version which are 273 grams each vs 380 grams stock rubber ones and didnt notice a difference on my 99 c5. I do want to change to solid motor mounts on my c5 stock height as i see the engine vibrate side to side without the vehicle moving.

What engine mounts do you run solid or poly for gto? c5s are the same im looking to do the same.
Haven’t run mine yet as I’m freshening up the polished engine work.
I also got their engine mounts. I figured I didn’t want the transaxle stiff and the worn factory engine mounts flexing putting (twisting) stress on the assembly.
I’m sure it will have much more vibration than stock but it’s a weekend car and kinda raw anyways. Modded C5z.
The diff mount was easy to install. The engine mounts required removing the headers, which required removing the starter.

Good call on the twist. If u change diff to solid u diff have to change motor mounts to solid. i have solid motor mounts and i only get vibration around 1500 rpm
But i lov how tight it feels when wot
