Default rocker panel adhesive

yes im back but finally around to getting to attempting to glue the rocker panel. I was busy restoring the headlights and mounting a fender screw. Which is the correct one gm uses glueing on the factory rocker panel. I had posted pics of how they're installed a few months ago showing the black blobs of how theyre attached to someone who isnt me 2002 corvette project. Its missing the inner fender wells on rear so got a good look how gm installs them. Which of these is correct and would anyone know the correct drying time? Im just going to 40 grit sand the inside of rocker panel and frame rinse with soap and water before applying the gm adhesive. I only want to attempt this once so anyone can confirm correct parts. Ill use scissor jacks and 3ft 2x4 with rags on top to hold the rocker panel up against the frame rail the 2ft section that hangs until it cures anyone know how long gms curing time. Which is the adhesive gm uses to glue the rockers pressed onto the frame. When removed from junkyard they used heat gun and chisel scraper.
Someone over on the hotrodders forum that deals with mounting body panels or panel replacements on classics told me to use 3m 8115 or 3m 8116 and be done with it. Is a tested and tried and true product when i watched amazon video a guy uses it to glue a whole new radiator support onto a 60s mustang with c clamps to hold it flat to the surface time with a curing time of 8 hours.

Someone told me this one when i first became a forum member but is on back order. Maybe a local gm dealership can get it at the parts counter

Adhesive 12378568 | GMPartsDirect.com

Is 12378568 the correct for mounting corvette fiberglass rocker, cadillac zlr sideskirts?

ebay has it for 25$ with 3 avaiable not back ordered from parts giant GM 12378568 Adhesive | eBay Is this what im looking for and what gm uses to mount rocker panels. Any panelists experts feel free to chime in looking to get this repaired asap. Have new c7 z06 wheels to mount.

IS this what im looking for and what gm uses from the factory to mount rocker panels? Its 25$ on ebay i take it would take a painters ruller mixer to spot blob it on about 1" thick or to play with the material first to see how much to apply. You could see on the rockers they apply spot sections on the rear to mount them im not sure if to run a whole 1" or 1/2" line all the way down the rocker panel to be mounted or adhered to the frame rail. Medium structural urethane installation adhisive is this this what they use to mount the front innder fenders and suck to the frame and rocker panels fiberglass smc be a different adhesive?

Im thinking the 20$ ebay gm product.

Theres this lord fusor 48 plastic panel bonding adhesive but same part number as gm

Adhesive - GM (12378568)

This was found under 2007 cadillac xlr adhesive nut is same part number as the ebay 20$ just different packaging.
Adhesive 12378568 | GM Parts Center

For bonding fiberglass, plastics, smc to primed metal.
Fusor® 147/148 Plastic Bonding Adhesive (Medium) | LORD Corp EMEA

Just what GMs part number shows im not sure if the foiled packaged has to be mixed anyone messed with this stuff the specific lord fusor 148 is similar to 3m 8115 8116 and needs application gun

Yeah says a 5-7 minute work time and 90 minute cure time to be painted. Im assuming both are similar products as gms part number shows lord fusor 148 for plastic bonding, fiberglass to primed metal. Would need application gun.
Work Time 5-7 minutes @ 70°F (21°C) Clamp Time 60-90 minutes @ 70°F (21°C)
15 minutes @ 140°F (60°C) Paint Time 90 minutes @ 70°F (21°C)
15 minutes @ 140°F (60°C)

Has anyone messed with the foil packaged gm adhesive and is it premixed and dry once opened? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

All the stuff I have used is a Two part deal in a Tube and required a special gun to dispense it and a Mixing tip deal that mixed it together. BEWARE of any 1K products.
If the Product has the GM part number on it its probably fine to use.

ALSO Beware buying products online! Product could be old and beyond shelf life! I have gotten products from Orileys that were bad and beyond shelf life before.
I like to buy these types of products From a reputable Body & Paint dealer that works with Body shops so they have stock that's continually being rotated.

Some of these adhesives are very expensive and have very short shelf life.
A lot of times you can buy them direct from mfg. web sight as well.
