2000 6spd Trans fluid?

hey there guys im new here. doing a clutch, flywheel, TT bearing and bushing kit this week. Also will be doing a diff fluid change...i chose royal purple 75w90 max gear oil. as for the transmission im really not sure what do use...seen a lot of different choices but no solid answers...again 2000 6spd base. Any help would be awesome thanks!!

The 2000 T56 has paper blocker rings which will be eaten up by a synthetic ATF. Use Dexron III ATF.

Amsoil is a synthetic ATF that doesn't affect the old style blocker rings (what ever they are). I've used it for over 130K miles with a Hurst shifter and it still shifts like budda.
