Hi Ya'll:
I have a C5 and am getting code B2860H. I know that it has something to do with the telescopic steering wheel sensor but that works just fine. Does anyone have a recomdnation on what I should look at next? thank you, i appreciate help.
You probably know this already, but the H suffix means that is a historic code. Because of the H and you say everything seems to be working fine; I'd try clearing the codes and see if it comes back.

thank you! Yeah, tried clearing it several times. Still comes back unfortunately.
Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful; I've not experienced this issue so have no first hand advice. I did search the forum for your issue and I found this post from 2005. This might prove helpful. Judging from that old post, your issue could be as simple as a faulty/loose connection; but not so simple to track it down.
Just a thought; like in computers that do strange stuff, shut it down by disconnecting the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes then reconnect. The electrical anomolies in the C5 are legendary.

Welcome to the forum!
..............'electrical anomalies in the C5 are legendary.' No truer words were ever spoken!! I'm starting to think that if the C5s PCM would've been Bill Gates first computer, and the C5 BCM was Steve Jobs first computer, they both would've thrown them in the river, and nobody would have any computers today!!!!
