Under hood lamp
Trying to troubleshoot an inop light and can't seem to find the issue. Did anyone know where the light harness terminates? I've found the plug in the front of the car, no voltage there or at the light socket. Map lights work and vanity lights work, fuse is good. What else can check?

I stopped worrying about mine. The damned bulb kept breaking so I took it out and never replaced it again.

Could have corroded. My temp sensor did even though only 16k mikes on the car, garage kept and never driven in rain. I got a new harness from Napa and spliced it in all good for less than $30 including butt connectors and electrical tape.

I could replace it with a weatherpak but I'd rather repair this one. Anyone know what these are called and where to get the pins ?

For me it’s just easier to buy a pigtail and solder the 2 wires and cover them with shrink tubing !!..try Amazon !!

they aren't weather packs. Just learned they are metri-pak. I could spice, but that kinda defeats the factory look. Just something that would bug me.
