CA Smog question
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a nice C5 to buy. One that has caught my eye, a 2000, on Craigslist has a Vararam intake, anyone know if that is California smog legal? I don't know if the guy still has the original parts, haven't pinged him yet.

Sounds like you figured it out... but technically the seller is responsible for smog testing. Assuming the seller doesn't want to deal with it, then no, the Vararam isn't legal. Of course you could get "lucky" and find a smog technician that doesn't realize it's an aftermarket intake.
