The passenger side seat will buzz and move on its own immediately after staring up and slides all the way back. Similar to the easy exit function for the driver seat. With the car running and “on” I can not use the switch to move it forward. But it does not do this if I only turn power on without starting the engine. The lumbar functions still work. But, with the engine off, the seat will function and move as normal and not on its own.
I disconnected the fuse to the seat since the motor would get super hot and did not want to have it buzzing all the time and until I can get this figured out.
First try running the seat back and forth full range several times. The seat position sensor in the seat motor is subject to getting gummed up and the seat becomes unsure of its position. Some owners have taken the motor apart to clean the contact area with success.
