So Im about to do a rear differential fluid job. Id like to get inside the cover and clean off the magnet and just have a quick peak inside. I’ve searched and cant seem to find squat on this. Mostly was trying to find a seal part number- my assumption is there’s a gasket or some other seal that would need replaced if the cover is removed.
OR is this a jack in the box and ****’s gonna start flyin out when cover comes off- like a spring or something… I don’t think so but don’t know what I don’t know.
thanks for ANY help / guidance on this!

No jack in the box effect, removal of the cover just gives you a look at things without anything falling out (unless something is broken to begin with!).
