Finally got a minute to drain my diff fluid. I’d say I found the cause for the whine under load…
asked the previous owner, and he said he thought it was normal!!🙄
I bought the car back from selling years ago, and was not informed of the drivetrain noise. Was told the car was perfect, lol. First and last time I buy something site unseen and take someone’s word for it!!
This was a stage 3 373 rear.
That look just same when i drain oil from differential. Differential was making abit whine. Clutch pack spring washer was broken and big piece was gone. Or maybe spider gears are also broke.

The smell was horrible!! The guy I bought the car from said he changed it about 5k miles ago. I'm calling BS.
Every car i bought or friend. Checking the diff fluid is the least thing on r mine to check. It's something that alway looked over expect for a few bright guys out there, but them again, these guys use a torque wrench for 3 in lbs. They are on off common sense. .
