Wheel weights - Apex vs TSW
Changing out the track tires - 18in Apex EC7 + Nitto NT01 = 45lb my 18in TSW Interlagos + Continental extreme = 43lb - was hoping the track setup would be lighter…

There is almost a 4 lb difference between a 315 Falken RT660 and a 315 Yokohama A052. Like mentioned it is not a fair comparison. Not to mention youre comparing an 18x10.5 TSW to an 18x11 Apex. That 0.5" makes a difference too.
I will say, my 18x12.5 Forged Apex VS-5RS are about 3lbs lighter per wheel than the 18x11 flow formed EC-7s I had were. Going from 315 RT660 on the 18x11 flow formed wheel to a 315 A052 on the 18x12.5 I am saving about 7lbs per corner. That is a HUGE difference.
I will say, my 18x12.5 Forged Apex VS-5RS are about 3lbs lighter per wheel than the 18x11 flow formed EC-7s I had were. Going from 315 RT660 on the 18x11 flow formed wheel to a 315 A052 on the 18x12.5 I am saving about 7lbs per corner. That is a HUGE difference.
