Hello
Thank you so much for allowing me to join and post.
I recently purchased a new 2003 C5 with 28K miles. I would like to know more about Harmonic Balancer and when I should replace.
I have made 2 videos on my YouTube channel providing more information on the Harmonic Balancer while engine is running and off.

Questions;
1. Looking at the videos, should I change it right away or I still have time?
2. I do work on my cars in my garage. Don't have a lift. However, I was wondering if this is a job I can tackle myself or should I have a pro to take care of?
I live in Los Angeles - San Fernando Valley area and would love to know of a good Corvette mechanic shop that I can trust to do the work. Any recommendations would be greatly apricated
3. What parts or model numbers do I need to replace while doing this job and where should I be purchasing these parts from?
You balancer is fine. The running video shows normal operation.
Pro tip; take some white touch up paint and "draw" a single line from the inside of the balancer (the rubber part) to the outside of the metal. You keep and eye on this. If the line stay in place, you have no problem but if they split apart, it means that the rubber has separated from the balancer and started to spin, hence needed to replace the unit.
