OK guys, I have an oil leak on right (passenger) side. It's not the dipstick tube. It starts at about the second upper oil pan bolt back from the timing cover. Above the pan the block is clean. One guy I PMd said the rear seal. It's NOT the rear seal, as the inside of the "bellhousing", and the "flexplate", are both completely dry. Researched best I could, and seems the crank sensor and low oil sensor seldom leak. I've read the oil pressure sensor can leak, but it usually leaks both sides. My left side is bone dry. I've also read that the valley cover can leak at the rear, but this oil leak starts about 5" from the front of the engine. I'm going to pull the intake, check the oil sender, and maybe pull the valley cover. If I can't find it up there, I'm going to have to pull the headers, X-pipe, and starter. I'm just looking for any suggestions what this might be, to make this as easy on my near 70 year old ***. Thank you, guys........
Can it be the air conditioning compressor leaking oil? Just a thought.
Thanks for responding. No, it's definitely engine oil. Ive done a lot of searches, and most leaks seem to be on both sides of the block, where mine is on the right side only. Doing honeydo work in wifes kitchen today. I'm going to try to get to it tomorrow. I don't work as fast as I once did, so I'm just hoping someone may have a an idea exactly what it is, so I won't remove anything I don't have to, and won't have to work this old bod too hard, lol.
I bought a cheap lighted boroscope that I connected to my phone. I used it to verify that my oil pressure sender was leaking without removing the intake manifold. It can help you look in places that you can't see with your eyes alone.

If your search does not confirm that it is the Oil Sending Unit leaking and you find it will be a project to fix, here is what I used to fix a upper pan oil leak in my DD Murano that to fix the leak was on the other side of $1200. TITAN Automotive Oil Stop-Leak: World's #1 Rated Engine Oil Stop-Leak in the USA
This stuff stopped the leak and has not reoccurred for 3 + years 7500 miles 2 oil changes. For less than $100, I will use once again if it starts leaking.
lt was from Amazon. I looked at Amazon and could not find the one I ordered. They have many priced from $10 to $50. They connect to your phone or a small screen.

Thank you!! I may check this out! My main concern is possibly hindering the valve guides lubrication, due to comprising the guide seals. But I'm going to check this stuff out. Thanks, again......
