A little while back I noticed water coming in through two spots underneath my rear window at opposite ends of the plastic trim while washing my car. I did some searching and found this thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...runk-help.html. Some good info but I couldn't find anything on how best to remove the trim under a z06's rear window.
I've also noticed a little water on my driver's side floorboard that seemingly comes from nowhere. It's as if what little water comes in comes straight down without leaving a trace where it came from. Reaching up and around I can feel no wetness.
The weather has been fuggin great and I've kept the car parked (work busy blah blah) because I can't just wash it. Enough is enough. I gotta fix these leaks. Going back to days soon so I should have more time.
Any help is always appreciated. Would love to hear from anyone who's experienced the same or has insight about the one in front. Figured the rear will be the easier one to solve first. Besides that it's the worse of the two. Just don't wanna break anything prepping to find the leak.
I'm adding pictures of the two spots in the rear, you can even make out soap residue. Lol
Thanks brother. You think the window reveal molding leak could lead to where I've shown? And would that mean it's both windows?
Still need to know how to remove the plastic trim under the rear window. Looks like two circular clips, one on each end. Do I just pull? Or should I be using a special pry tool for interior clips?

If I remember you just pop the two plastic clips out and then you just pull on the trim to un-snap it. You should get a trim removal tool if you don't already have one.
I think it's more likely coming from the reveal moulding rather than your rear window or trunk based on posts here and my own experience. But if you remove some of the interior trim pieces you should be able to find the source with a garden hose.
Good luck
