Which manifold do you have now -- i.e. is your car a 2000 or earlier vs. 2001 or later? There have been a couple of good comparisons run over the years, this motortrend one is very informative: https://www.motortrend.com/news/20-l...ifolds-tested/
The problem is the prices are through the roof everywhere. Used LS6 manifolds run $400 or more, and while the motortrend comparison indicates 22 HP that's on a better than stock motor. Other comparisons show the LS1 to LS6 as being more along the lines of 10 HP: https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...o-results.html
As I'm sure you've already read on this site, if you have a 2001 or later, it already has the LS6 intake manifold, so now you pretty much have to go with the Weiand or FAST, neither of which is inexpensive.

What you're saying is mostly true. However, just because it's an '01-'04 doesnt guarantee the OEM LS6 intake is still there. Most likely, it is. However, some guys who sell their cars also may swap intakes so they can sell the LS6 intake separately for an extra $300-$400 after they buy an LS1 intake for $50-$100 to replace it. Many C5 Z06s have been sold without their tire inflation kit, so you never know. But yes, most Z06s will have their LS6 intake still in place......
