I replaced my stock head unit with a double DIN (2000 C5 FRC). I have since learned that you need to have the stock unit for the keyless entry to work. Has anyone figured out a work-around?
Don't know where you read that. The OEM radio has nothing to do with the keyless entry. Now, if your installer hacked into the BCM wiring, that could be a problem.

Thanks everyone! I didn't think the information was correct as I could not find any evidence of anyone having that problem. Looks like a FOB issue because it will not "learn" from the car. I'll try a new battery as soon as I can find one and give it another go.
