What do you think???
I use those Thundervolts-50 as well. And to make it even "worse", my spark plug holes are 8 times filled with the famous BERU SILVERSTONEs (S1K, non-R type, heat range same as the stockers, gapped to 0.035").
Except the AM-Radio reception, absolutely NO RI in the Car (=> not the littles whining on FM reception or CD). Absolutely NO disturbances spread into the on-board computer systems.
BUT : goin' on the Dyno => I always carry one of the old OEM spark plugs with me along with one of the GM OEM S-P wires. This assures to have a non-disturbed Computer-access to the DYNO (rpm) Analyzer.
The above mentioned ignition-combo gives me totally rock-solid and very smooth idle (700rpm). Throttle response through all rpms is very precise, accurate and spontaneous as well.
Re RI on AM reception : I do not really bother about, b/c the very best music is however coming from the rear part of this Car => exhaust sound designed by MagnaFlows.........enjoy. . :smash: :smash:  :D

Also I just got done putting in my NGK Iridium IX Plugs.
However, looking at my recent DYNO-sheet, I could guesstimate a circa-gain of (along a list of other bolt'ons) about 1 to 2 CSHP.
Again, this is an estimate. The more important thing I found out was the smoothed out caracteristic of the engines "way to run" through all rpms. This LS1 runs in fact like a turbine - really kind of round, strong, mean, willing........
Your choice for the NGK Iridiums is certainly a gain in the longevity of those s-plugs. I am not sure how long my BERUs will stay in the fight, but time will tell me..........for the time, after some thousand miles, everything looks still as it should (electrodes inner and outer, isolator).

I hope the wires will fix this.? :skep:
I wish you total success with your setup !! An other thing you might check-out : check for total airtightness over the integral chain of intake components. Final-check all the clamps for good, but not too much torque and that really everything is nicely and properly seated until the throttle body's mouth. Check also carefully for proper routing of all the wires between s-p-head and the respective coil-packs. You might also give the connections of the wires a little dose of silicone-grease - just cheap insurance for excellent and longtime worryless contact-transition of the highvoltage.
Again, have fun and success with your new parts
