What is the reasoning for returning to the factory settings? It would seem that since a PO spent the money to have it tuned on a dyno it is now running as efficiently as possible. This is especially true if any modifications have been made to the car.
The car is not modded.
Me, I don't care for anything not bone stock factory original.
I am an ASE Master Tech, retired and mods only made my job more difficult than it already was.
Moreover, this car is pinging under moderate acceleration and that needs corrected. I can guarantee the timing was kickup advanced when it was dyno'ed.
Another thing...this car I bought has chromed wagon wheels and of course the chrome is corroding and peeling in some small areas. Today I found some correct argent wagon wheels that look so much more appropriate on a white c5.
Since you do not have the state or city in your avatar, there is little chance of a local member to help you. To change anything in the tune requires HPT, EFILive, etc. to just put a stock tune back in a Tech 2 can do it but all methods requires money for the procedure to work. Personally i am not a fan of dyno tunes because too many are looking for Horsepower improvements a scan tune usually looks for driving refinements. For example auto trans are factory tuned for universal EPA requirements while a scan tune is closer to your driving style and still meet EPA requirements.
Yeah for sure...but my snlt won't be shredded and fried in 7 months.

You never know …my car is heavily modded for years now runs like a champ 800 ponies and better fuel mpg than stock . I wouldn’t ever revert back to having a muscle car with no muscle !
