I'll usually switch off between using Seafoam, Techron, or BG-44K to help keep the fuel system clean. Alot of people tend to believe that BG-44K is the best or strongest but its also the most expensive. I tend to run one of these three through the car a few times a year.

I run a 12oz bottle of Techron through the fuel system once every oil change. The usual procedure: when you're getting ready to change oil, get your fuel low, techron + fill up, let it get low again, fill up again, let it get low again - and then change your oil, fill up and proceed as usual.
I have not seen evidence you need more than that. Extra, I dunno, $6 or so every however-long. Unless you are chasing a specific issue?
