Before anyone says it. I have already purchased and installed the LMC5 module. I also bought the kit with the unlocker tool. Now the kit did fix the annoying message on the dash that so many of us are familiar with. But the steering wheel “unlocker” tool has done nothing and the steering wheel is helplessly locked still I’ve tried a everything from jiggle the steering wheel vigorously, putting pressure on the steering wheel in both directions. Absolutely nothing. I tried to get it towed to a dealer and the flat bed took one look and said no way tool low and with a locked steering wheel he wanted no part of it!! Seriously does anyone have help for my desperate situation. My car is a ‘97 with 6 speed. thanks in advance
So this happen to me about 20 years ago, I literally had to jerk the steering wheel with enough force that I thought it was going to pull off the car but it freed it and was able to drive it to the dealer. That car was a 1998.

Perhaps reach out to Compliance Parts (the maker of the LMC5); I have found their customer support to be top notch. (855) 565-8388 http://www.complianceparts.com/index.html

So you have this unlocker tool and it isn't unlocking the column? http://www.complianceparts.com/lmc5unlocker.html Note: If your steering column lock motor is severely jammed, or has failed in the locked position, not even the LMC5 Unlocker will be able to unlock your steering column. Fortunately, this seems to be a very rare occurrence, and the vast majority of all C5 steering columns can be easily unlocked. We recommend that you contact a knowledgeable Corvette dealer or Corvette service professional in the event that your column will not unlock, even after using the LMC5 Unlocker.
Based on that note I would try and hold the steering wheel in a position that isn't putting any pressure on the locking pin, then try the unlocker. Good luck.
I contacted Richard at compliance Parts. He advised to undo the steering column shroud (not real easy) and tap on the lock with a screwdriver and hammer.
That worked.
