I installed an MSD 2 step on my car. After testing i can say that it works perfectly and consistently for launching as long as you feather the clutch properly. Ive heard all of the rage about the shooting flames that come out of the pipes but mine shoots absolutely no fire at all. I'm just curious why? I obviously dont need it to shoot the fire but just wonder why every sngle video online shows fire but mine doesnt. Maybe the child in me was hoping for the happy side effect of the mechanical wonder.
The car is a 2003 base
TSP long tubes (catless)
Toys4Life modded factory Hpipe
Corsa indys
ECS 1500 blower kit
550 HP / 489 TQ

My guess is the mufflers. When i rev mine there are no flames either. But I have only tried up to 3500rpms.

That was my main suspect too. The indys aren't a strait though design. But ive seen plenty of video of people shooting flames through the factory exhaust, with chuncks of cat flying out with it lol. I was also thinking it could be the tune. I Know Doug from ECS is very precise. I tried it up to 4500 RPM.

You have to retard timing and partially cut spark to have a 2-step flame thrower.
It's all in the tune. Seeing Doug tuned your car he tuned it right... so it won't shoot flames.
